PLACING YOUR ORDER
Orders may be placed using one of the following methods:
- Website: Place your order securely and at any time through our online shopping cart using Visa, Mastercard, Discover or Paypal [Paypal will also process Amex cards - opening a Paypal account is not necessary]. U.S. billing addresses only. Online orders are processed through a secure server and credit card information is encrypted. A note about secure pages: The web pages where personal information will be used are secure pages. A secure web page will have "https://" at the beginning of the page address (at the top of the screen) and some browsers will display a yellow lock box at the bottom (usually right corner) of the browser screen. Regular web pages/product pages have "http://" at the beginning of the web page address. Secure pages are used once the checkout process has begun. The rest of the catalog is run in regular mode.
- *Please do NOT mail us cash to pay for your order.
- Checks mailed to us for payment may be processed electronically (you will not receive a copy of the check). *A $35.00 fee will be charged for check payments returned due to insufficient funds.
- Mail-in: You are welcome to mail in your order with a check or money order - US funds only, please. The order will be processed once payment has been received. Shipping fees for your mail in order can be calculated by using the shipping estimator on the shopping cart page. Please make checks payable to: Berean Baskets and mail to the address on Contact Us page.
U.S. addresses only. Items marked in-stock will ship within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) of order processing. Orders with special shipping notes on the product information page will ship within the time frame specified on that page. Orders paid for by electronic check or a check mailed in are shipped once payment has cleared (usually 4 business days). We ship via USPS, UPS GROUND, FEDEX or FedEx Smartpost.

*When estimating days in transit, do not include Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or the day the package is placed with the shipper. Shipping tends to be slower during holiday seasons.
We do not guarantee delivery times. Transit times are estimates.
SHIPPING RATES: Shipping rates range from $4.99 to $9.99 for standard ground depending on the weight of the order. A shipping calculator is included on the shopping cart page which shows the shipping rates available for the applicable products.
FREE SHIPPING: We have free shipping promotions periodically and the free shipping amount varies with each promotion. The current free shipping amount, if applicable, will be shown on the shopping cart page. The free shipping promotion may be restricted to a maximum weight. If the weight of the items in your shopping cart exceeds this amount, the free shipping option will not be displayed and standard rates will be charged. Free shipping is only available for mainland U.S. delivery addresses.
NAMES TO REMEMBER NAME CARDS MAIL IN ORDERS:
Shipping fees for Names to Remember name cards when ordering less than 5 cards: $0.50 per name card up to $4.99. If ordering 5 or more cards, your order can be placed online.
Real-time inventory status is available directly from our website. Occasionally, for various reasons, a product's inventory may not have been updated (for instance when orders are placed by phone rather than through our website). With the exception of these rare instances when an item has not yet been updated, all items are in stock unless otherwise noted. If you place a higher quantity in your shopping cart than we currently have in stock, a message will be displayed notifying you of the product's status. In this case you will have the option of placing a special order for the additional quantity (please see SPECIAL ORDERS below). Orders listed with a special order status of "yes" are still being carried by the manufacturer (this does not guarantee the manufacturer has the item in stock). Orders with a special order status of "NO BACKORDERS" should be verified with us prior to placing your order. If the item is listed as "discontinued", "out of print", etc., the item can not be special ordered.
SPECIAL ORDERS - BACKORDERS
If you choose to purchase items in a higher quantity than we currently have in stock, we will place a special order with the manufacturer for the additional quantity, normally within 24-48 business hours (smaller orders may take longer as we have to meet our distributors minimum order requirements when placing an order). You will be able to let us know how you prefer to have your backorders handled during the checkout process.
If you need your special order by a certain date, please include this date in the "Request By Date" box during checkout. We will notify you as soon as possible if we are unable to ship by this date and cancel the order if you so choose.
Please inspect your merchandise promptly upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours of delivery to report any problems with your order. If you would like to request to return an item after this time, it may be subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned in damaged/unsalable condition.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us, in salable condition, within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the cost of the merchandise returned. Shipping charges are nonrefundable unless there has been an error on our part. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Return Order" in the subject line and let us know that your order is being returned. Please retain all return shipping receipts and tracking/delivery confirmation numbers (we are not responsible for returns that are lost in transit) until the refund process is completed. Refunds require up to one week to process once we have received the returned product. You will be notified via email once a credit has been issued. Any special orders/backorders (products that were ordered on behalf of a customer because we did not carry the desired quantity in stock) over $50.00 that are returned for any reason other than an error on our part will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
ORDERS THAT CAN NOT BE PROCESSED
Orders can not be processed for any account which is unsettled. We reserve the right to refuse to process orders for any customer who has disregarded our policies. Orders placed by any customer with a chargeback history will be cancelled. Please contact us before placing your order if you have any questions about our policies.
Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to shipment. Once orders have been shipped, they are subject to our return policy. Please keep in mind that we do try to ship as soon as possible after an order has been processed. Please email your cancellation request to email@example.com. Please put "Cancel Order" in the subject area so that your request will be processed as quickly as possible. You will receive a confirmation from us via email once your request has been received. Cancellation requests can only be processed before an order has shipped. Once an order has shipped, please refer to our return policy.
Noncontiguous U.S. Shipments
Ceramics and other fragile items (mugs, frames, vases, etc.) are only available for shipment within the 48 contiguous United States. If you have any questions about what can be shipped overseas (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories), please contact us prior to placing your order.
